Between trying to attempt the second time putting together my chairs for my new dinning room set calls where going out ... One here, One There ... there was no time to just sit back and listen as my crop struggle to get these calls out and answered.
So I signed on. Not knowing what I was going ON .. because I just signed on .. I threw my green light on and off I went .. It was during the day so not many people at all notice my green light and pull over .... though pretty impressed this time. People did pull over .. and I felt important ( lol he he he .. Just kidding ) The call was difficulty breathing .... which turned into an ALS call any ways.. BUT at least I did jump on .. and thankfully an ALS provider was at the scene. ( Thank You to my ALS partner that day ) After an hour an a half that call was over and back to the barn we went. ( Central ) hung out for a bit... though I knew I had to get back home to the kids and those darn chairs ( grrr.. was hoping some little green elf happen to have stopped by and possibly put those chairs together for me .... nope .. no green elf this time ) settling in ... just decided to pour my self a YUMMY DELIOUS Glass of WINE ( Yes I said Chocolate.. can you believe it ... it was a yummy creamy sensation is what it was ) Just as I started to put that class to my lips ............ TONES that is right TONES for a call .. and these were not just any tones.... they were crying for help. We ended up with a MCI (Mass Cassualty Incident ) we had 8 pts... a Tracker Trailer v/s a small buss. I had to .. it was just something I needed to do ... something like that can not be ignored ... its time to roll. I threw on my light and off I went .. I signed on letting the person in charge know I am going to the barn .. he then was sending another rig to pick me up .. that never happen. So much misscommunication .. people took charge when they shouldnt have .. and others went to the calls who never signed on ... it was a mess.. NOT with the patient care.. but with everything else. We did lose someone which was sad. But we had to continue and do what we needed to do. I never ended up going, I could have taken my car down to the scene but for one I was not positive of where it was .. .and for too with all those people who signed on .. my car would have been parked miles down the road and by the time I got to them..... things would or should have been under control by then. I did get credit for the call though.
So needless to say .. I headed back home .... drank that wine and finally put those chairs together!!! NO MORE CALLS for me today .... that was over!!!
Today I had to work ... Oldest is out so the two little ones are home and I can not trust the two of them to stay together while I am out on a call. So tonight I took it easy.. I studied, created bows, played on FB, Kids had left overs from last night, I painted my daughters nails and she painted mine : So that is about it... now its bed time.
Tomorrow is another day .. though its MY DAY ...I will be riding the ambulance 6pm till midnight ... so Keep me in your prayers and I hope to have something worth posting on Sunday!
